Planning for Summer

Sorry about the delay in posts, but I’m back and letting you know what you can plan for in the Hudson Valley this summer! Like many places, Poughkeepsie offers free concerts at local parks. At Bowdoin Park in Poughkeepsie, you’ll find:

On June 30: Bill’s Toupee (with fireworks) 7 pm
7/7: Big Blue Band, 7 p.m.
7/14: Rendition, 7 p.m.
7/21: jazz pioneers 7 p.m.
7/28: Longneck, 7 p.m.
8/4 Burr Johnson, 6:30 p.m.
8/11: Last Call
Bring your lawn chair or blanket. If it rains, the concerts are held in the community room at the Park.

 

The Bardavon Presents

Matinees & Music, Sinatra & More, Thursday May 14, 2 p.m. ONLY $5!!!!! This is definitely a cheap night with great music and movies. The Bardavon is located at 35 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. The box office is 845-473-2072, so call them for more info.
